I was a John Bead customer some years back….I loved going there and buying beads and findings at great prices. I am a small time beader that sells to friends at work, family, and also do the occasional craft show. When JB moved across the street to the huge warehouse and I went there – my account was dormant ( I hadnt been for awhile). I was advised that I would have to buy something like $300 worth of stuff just to activate my account again…and that the minimum purchase (which used to be $50) had gone up considerably as well. I was very very dissapointed…I could no longer afford to shop there. Buying $300 worth of wholesale is HUGE. There was no way I could ever use that much stuff. Why did you do that? I felt so deflated, like they didnt give a damn about the small time beader any more.
