1. Cotton Monster

I love me some stuffed animal monsters. Using bright & vibrant recycled materials, these soft and squishy creations are more hilarious then terrifying. Be sure to check out her studio work for giant monsters, inflatable monsters and even a monster bra. Her mad sewing skills and creativity totally blow me away.

2. Mohop

I love handmade. I love shoes. Mohop brings these loves together in a way that I find irresistable. Her wedges are especially comfortable and stylish (full disclosure: I own two pairs), and I love the way you can have a new look just by changing the ribbon ties.

3. Erin Tyner

Erin’s Half Awake series of photographs of dioramic settings leave me breathless every time. I’m not sure if it’s the depth of colour or the sense of longing they convey or maybe it’s the simplicity. Regardless, they’re beautiful.

4. Genevieve Dionne

Genevieve’s handthrown, hand-cut stencil mugs and vases are quietly inspiring. I adore her fox mug, but not as much as the ghost vase!

5. Domsai by Mattero Cibic

Futuristic cacti on legs. Do I need to say more?

1. Jean Shin

Jean Shine is a very labour intensive installation artist.

2. My Milk Toof

A cute visual diary about the adventures of ickle and lardee.

3. Marianne Lovink

I was told a few times that I would LOVE her work, but I didn’t actually run into it until I took a tour of the Drake and this came into my life and I fell in love with it.

4. Inspiration Resource

Great link by Michelle McCormick for all things inspirational.

5. Textile Blog

Get your daily fibre (art). A resource for textiles, design and innovation.

1. Abby Try Again

If I could have a love affair with this ladies photographs, I would in a heartbeat. They are absolutely gorgeous and always remind me of happy days filled with sunshine and rainbows.

2. The Criterion Collection

I spend a lot of time on this site researching films that I want to watch. They always look fantastic.

3. F**k Yeah Paul Newman

Paul Newman was great for so many reasons: his acting, his looks, his activism, his salad dressing… the list could go on and on. A daily photo of Paul Newman will brighten ANY mood, I promise! “The embarrassing thing is that the salad dressing is outgrossing my films.” Too good.

4. Asphalt and Air

This is one of those blogs where you get really envious and stare off into space imagining yourself in the places she takes photographs of.

5. The Post Family

I don’t really know how to describe this one, but don’t let that stop you from checking it out. It has SO much goodness to offer you.
