GET TOGETHER: TCA in the park (July 5) – TODAY!

Well…we were rained out last Sunday but this up and coming Sunday looks to be all about sunshine. So we’re trying again! Hope a bunch of you can make it out for TCA in the Park: the dry version.
Summer is here and it’s time to get out from behind the computer screen, get together & get crafty! We’d love to meet you guys for a hangout in the park on Sunday July 5th from 2-5pm.
This is a great opportunity to meet some new peeps and reconnect with crafty friends! Bring a park lounging blanket, whatever craft you’re working on (or not, if you just want to chat), and if possible, an afternoon snack to share with your neighbours. Local tea haven Tealish has offered to hook us up with iced tea to cool us down – sweet!
We’ll be setting up camp in the southern part of Trinity Bellwoods park – look for the TCA banner hanging from a tree.
If you are on Facebook, do let us know if you plan to come on the event page – we’ll be sending out any updates that may arise through there. (This is a new event page so if you RSVPed to the last one, please do so again)

gabriela: sorry, this is a commerce-free event (just making, snacking & chatting) so there is no craft fair/ sales component!

I live fairly nearby Trinity Bellwood park.I was wondering the same thing about possible selling my artificial flowers as similar to Gabriela hoping to sell her necklaces. I am glad the question got answered.I wouldn’t to hopefully attend next year for the possible networking opportunities and having some meeting other crafters. Hope someone can provide a contact number for the 2010 or even one in fall.

sparkles – stay tuned to the blog or join the mailing list to be kept informed of future get togethers. i think we’ll wait until the weather is a bit less soggy to plan another event – crossing our fingers for a drier august!
