Happy Intern Top Picks Wednesday! I hope everyone loved all the guest posters and the amazing art and craft they had to share – what an incredible team! This week features video-art, zines, everything you can do with Japanese tape, and more - enjoy, friends.

Lotte combined her interests in silhouette-making, puppetry, and film-making to create some intricate and impressive short films. I think we should all watch some of her animation – her work is just so innovative, even watching 80+ years later.
I recently fell in love with Kate O’Connor’s embroidered work at a gallery in Parkdale – I love the very low-key text/design mixed with the intricate detail of the embroidery. Her illustrations are amazing as well!
I’m really liking some of Christine’s installations–especially the “Unlimited Promise” piece, which combines text, reflection, movement. Some really interesting and original work.
Adrianne’s work all has to do with bees, their evolution and the fear that they may be dying off. There is something magical about the way the colours in the Galapagos illustrations mix and meet – you have to see them up close. They are at the Board of Directors gallery right now, go while you have the chance!
Video for my new ultra-crush, Icelandic musician Sin Fang Bous who is famous and Iceland and I think he’ll be famous here in no time. The video is a great mix of illustration/craft and live action.
