An exploration of vintage papers, hand written letters and long lost photos, sleeping cats and other stories begins with one image which dictates what happens next. Each mixed media piece combines collage, print making, and drawing to create one of a kind art pieces. Each piece tells a story.
Lisa Pijuan-Nomura is a multidisciplinary performance artist and creativity coach. For much of her life she has collected love letters, vintage magazines, transfers, buttons and age old photographs of strangers. After taking a hiatus from performance in 2007, she focused much of her time on making art. She soon began selling her art online, and through word of mouth. This is her first exhibit. She is currently working on 1000 watercolour portraits for her People I See series.
