TCC Event Gallery is thrilled to announce our first annual CRAFT off the Lot Exhibition – Toronto’s first affordable indoor artist exhibition for the Holiday Season!

Off the Lot is seeking volunteers for the areas of exhibition listed below.

POSITIONS:

Installation Hand

Installation hands will assist with the set up and striking of exhibitions. Volunteers do not have to have experience with art installations but must feel comfortable with manual labour and using tools. Installation Hands will also be asked to be available to assist artists and artisans with set up prior to exhibition openings.

Exhibition Staff

Exhibition Staff may work one or both exhibitions. They are required to assist artists/artisans, provide information and assistance to visitors & assist in maintaining the exhibition venue.

Booth Sitters

Booth sitters are available to be booked by particular artists for long term assistance or be made available throughout the day while artists attend to matters of conflict or require a break from their booth. Booth sitters for long term assistance shall be interviewed by TCC. Artists requiring long term assistance will then conduct a second interview with appropriate volunteers. An background in visual arts is required for all booth sitters.

Opening Night Staff

Opening Night Staff must be available from 5-12pm on the evening of the openings of one or both exhibitions. Opening night shall include the addition of circulating food and drink and assisting the VIP section.

Promotional Assistants

Promotional Assistants shall be required to assist TCC with promoting the exhibition prior to its opening. This includes, advertising placement, assistance in meeting print deadlines, flyering, assisting promotion sponsors with products, assisting with mailings and SWAG collection.
