1. Jenni Rope
Okay, look at all these books. I’m overwhelmed.
Other wordly silkscreened prints. Love.
3. Susie Cowie
Vintage-inspired embroidery.
This picture is perfection: the tumbledown wood, the yarn-roof, oh!
Incredible, inspiring embroidery by an early 20th century textile artist. Please check out “Goat Tree”. Seriously.

a very lovely online shop, known as ashes and milk, has a great great list of craftspeople. One of them is Yoran Morvant who showcases a collection called Pierre Graphiques. Yoran, an architectural draftsman by trade, makes these beaaauuutiful drawings on stones!!!
skills! i’m totally into obsessive, repetitive, labour intensive craftwork, and it’s obvious in Heather’s pinhole technique.
3. Tinctory
I first discovered her smocked jewelry pieces when Karyn purchased one and have been following Evan’s flickr ever since. Her dyeing swatches here, here and technique are amazing! one day i will have my own…but it’s so hard to choose which one!
4. Miki Sato
Miki was one of the artists suggested through our local illustration call. I personally like her style because it’s sweet and her colour palette is soft, uses a lot of pastel, and neutral colours.
this website made me very happy. it’s added to my list of sketchbook obsessing sites!

I never want to wear hats again, only this gorgeous headwear.
This guy has got mad chops.

Mariska Karasz and that bird leaf by Heather Smith Jones…you gals find things that make my heart sing. And I big time want one of Tinctory’s new feather necklaces- I’ve add that to my holiday wishlist. Thanks amazing interns!!
