Revelry V – Where Artists and Emerging Collectors Meet
Call for Submissions –

Deadline: Wednesday December 16, 2009 @ 5 pm

Gallery 1313 is looking for donations by artists, working in any medium, of reasonably priced work (valued at no more than $800) for the 5th annual Revelry Art Auction.

Selected artists will:

- Be part of the 2 week group preview show at Gallery 1313 (running April 7 to April 20, 2010)
- Have their bio and website information included in the auction catalogue, and on Gallery 1313 website
- Receive a 1 year Visual Arts Ontario Membership
- Receive either a tax receipt for 100% donation of the value of the work OR a 25% payment on the final auction price of the work
- Be invited to attend the Revelry V preview party and auction

Submissions by artists working in ANY MEDIUM should include:

Images in JPEG format at 300 dpi

The selection committee for Revelry V includes: Neslon French (Artist/Visual Arts Ontario), Barbara Gilbert (Artist/Independent Curator), Alison Lindsay (Member – Revelry Committee), Tammy Moorse (Gallery 1313 Board Member), Perry Tung (Perry Tung Contemporary/Visual Arts Ontario/Auctioneer), Andrea Zeifman (Heinze & Wilkins/Auctioneer)

Gallery 1313, located in downtown Toronto, in the neighbourhood of Parkdale, is an artist run centre and non-profit registered charity that promotes creativity, learning, and growth in the careers of artists and seeks to inspire passion and appreciation of arts and culture in the public.

Now in its 5th year, the Revelry Art Auction raises funds to support the ongoing operations and programming of Gallery 1313. The gallery does not receive operational funds from any government funders and relies on fundraising, artist memberships and rentals to keep its doors open.

Revelry V will be held at Gallery 1313 on April 20, 2010.
