NEW! CRAFTOON – BY MIKI SATO

by admin

Dec 7th, 2009

Welcome to Toronto Craft Alert’s newest feature — Craftoons. This ongoing series will feature the work of a broad cross section of toronto illustrators, with a nod to all things crafty. If you do illustration work (or know someone who does), and think it would be a perfect fit for this feature, let us know!

We’re thrilled that our first contribution is by Miki Sato, a freelance illustrator living and working in Toronto. Her mixed media technique involves the layering of many found surfaces and textiles, creating a uniquely three dimensional and tactile piece. If you aren’t already in the holiday spirit, we think this lovely work will light you up. Enjoy!
