Operation Sock Monkey, Sock-Monk-a-thon
Tuesday, January 19, 2010 / 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Where: Hart House Reading Room
Cost: FREE ! Donate your sock monkey to Operation Sock Monkey or take home your creation for a donation of $20

Learn to make sock monkeys, cats and rabbits for donation to the amazing Operation Sock Monkey. If you fall in love with your sock-friend, you can take it home for a donation of $20. So swing on by and beat the January blahs with some craftivism! The workshop is free and all materials are provided.

Operation Sock Monkey is an initiative in support of Clowns Without Borders South Africa (CWBSA) providing laughter, hope and healing to communities affected by HIV/AIDS. Handmade Sock Monkeys can be purchased for you or someone you love or sponsored to be sent to children in need of a smile. All proceeds donated to CWBSA.
