How about a section like the back of the Globe and Mail or the “letters” section of the “The Vinyl Cafe” on CBC radio where anyone can write in with a short nonfiction story involving craft?
Here are some examples:
-a person’s memory of learning to quilt with a relative
-a funny thing that happened in craft school
-the expiences of teaching decorative painting

This could be a section where people write in and the best get published?

This is such a great idea.

It’s not on your list, but my passion is DIY and I’d love to write a regular piece on DIY – relating recipes, info on ingredients, issues of fair trade and sourcing, plus real life experiences of the trials and triumphs of DIY as I teach workshops several times a month, plus make healthy cosmetics for a living.
