ART etc is presently looking for artisans for an Arts and Craft fair which will take place Friday and Saturday November 19th and 20th 2010.

ART etc is currently in its 25th year. Each year the fair showcases the work of 30 artisans. The selection is done by an independent jury. The event occurs over two days at the end of November at City Hall in the town Montreal-West (H4X 1T6). Each year a wide variety of crafts are showcased, for example last year’s show included: painting on glass, quilts, handmade jewelery, woodworking, stationery art, pottery, art glass, preserves, handbags, children’s items etc. You may view pictures of past Art etc shows at: www.flickr.com/art_etc

ART etc has an excellent reputation for selling quality handcrafted items and art, and is committed to continually provide a variety of different crafts. To that end, ART etc. rotates artisans who participate in the show. Therefore, new artisans who would like to participate in ART etc are invited to present examples of their work.

The jurying will be on March 26, 2010. The jury commitee will be looking for originality, imagination and appropriateness of design. If interested, you will need to bring about ten examples of your work the day of the jury. Prices need to be indicated for each item and if possible, please supply the jury with a short text explaining your work. All the items presented must be made by you. There are no charges for presenting your work for jurying.
