PSYCHOGEOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
@ PROJECT 165

This workshop explores the practices of psychogeography, improv, “situationism” and real-world immersive fiction as they relate to personal development and creative urban living. Through a series of improv games, urban explorations, creative case studies and role-playing exercises, participants will work together towards the creation and implementation of an undercover public role-playing scenario. The results of this final scenario will be documented and presented publicly in a casual gallery context. A reception for this presentation will be held to share the transformative magic of the program with friends, family and the general public.

This workshop is a unique opportunity for participants to overcome doubt and fear, explore creativity, develop communication skills and confidence and be spontaneous through the active discovery and application of playful, inventive strategies for exploring the urban landscape. This workshop is open to open-minded, adventure-seekers 18 years of age and older. No experience necessary.
