Project 165 is seeking rental proposals for exhibitions and events in its exhibition site in Kensington Market, for its Spring, Summer and Fall programming periods.

Project 165 is an artist-run hub that exists to catalyze community and genuine collectivity; support the social, creative and professional development of emerging and early-career cultural producers; and challenge the ways in which culture is produced, perceived and consumed.
Project 165 encourages experimentation, innovation and fun!

Exhibitions are scheduled for one- or two-week periods. Project 165 is also available for
one-night events, such as performances, intimate parties, screenings, workshops and meetings.
Project 165’s exhibition site is approximately 300 square feet with 10-foot-high ceilings, track lighting and large picture windows at street level facing ample pedestrian traffic. Project 165 assists with installation, weekday gallery sittings and promotion. No commission is taken on sales. All fees go toward operations.

All creative forms, ideas and disciplines are considered. Work may be in any media, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation, performance and new media. Proposals by emerging and early-career cultural producers and community-focused groups acting on a not-for-profit basis are given first priority.

For exhibitions, please include in your rental proposal:
