Bargain-hunting fibre addicts will descend on the TMC for the annual More Than Just A Yardage Sale. Created and run by the Museum’s volunteers, the sale is a bonanza for textile aficionados and a major fundraiser for the Museum. Shoppers will have their pick of an eclectic mix that includes yardages, yarns, patterns, quilt fabrics, notions and crafts.

having never been to this event before, does anyone know what I should expect? wrestling over dupioni? head locks over cashmere?

I have never been, but I have heard that you need to get your elbows up! Also, the volunteers bring out more textiles as the day goes on, so there is always fresh stuff.

Hey everyone,
they do accept cash, debit and major credit cards at this sale. They also encourage everyone to bring their own bags.
