Tailoring 101 – Tailoring is a craft that requires precision and attention to detail. In seven weeks, students will learn the fine art of tailoring to create the perfect jacket. Learn the tricks of the trade from a professional tailor!

This course will cover how to achieve the proper jacket fit, methods for inserting the set- in sleeves, shaping the collar, shoulder pads application, pad stitching, welt pocket, and properly attaching the lining

Date: June 24, Thursdays, 8 weeks
Time : 6pm – 9pm
**No class on July 1**
Cost: $300.00 + HST

Pants Making – In this 5 weeks course, students will learn the trick of the trade in perfect pants fitting and construction! We will discuss sizing, pattern alternation, and proper pressing to create that tailor look in trousers. Studetns will also learn proper pants sewing techniques such as fly front, waistband, pockets and hemming to achieve that professional look.

Date: June 30, Wednesdays, 5 weeks (This session is held at 282 Eglinton Ave West)
Time: 6pm – 9pm
Cost: $225.00 + HST
**There is a $10.00 supply fee to the instructor**

Swimming suit workshop – In this workshop, students will get a chance to make their own bathing suit. We will provide different styles of swimming suit for students to choose. We will cover various techniques in working with spandex and discuss proper fitting.

Date: July 24, Saturdays, 2 weeks
Time: 10am – 1pm
