THE UNCONVENTIONAL SKETCHBOOK: Mixed Media Class with local textile artist, Sharon Epstein
Date: July 5 to July 8, 2010 (Monday-Thursday), from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm daily.
Location: The Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op, 401 Richmond St. West, Studio 109, Toronto
Tuition: $235 + Materials: $65
This course will enable you to make the most out of using a sketchbook practice, develop images, observe and experiment with materials and ideas. Students will be encouraged to use drawing; printmaking, resists, transfers and collage. The course will look at the purpose of the sketchbook, to reflect, record, and express ideas. Field trips as well as working in the studio will allow the student a variety of locations to develop their ideas. This course is for those who enjoy experimentation and process.
