Gallery 1313 is looking for submissions for the Process Gallery!!
We have 33 feet of running wall to be filled with your work! This space offers artists a place to test out new works that are in the process of development. We encourage all emerging craft, video, new media, installation and performance artists to propose projects for this space.
The rental fee for two weeks is $500. While this may seem like a lot, you don’t have to sit in the gallery, there are no commissions to the gallery and you can have an opening for your work (this is shared with the main space show)! We encourage artists and groups to seek out project grants from various government and art funding agencies to cover all or some of their costs. Again, Gallery 1313 does not take commission for the sales of art.
How to Submit:
Please send your artist’s statement, up-to-date CV, 10-15 images of your work on a CD and an accompanying image list with title, date, media and dimensions of each work to:

Gallery 1313 is an artist-run centre exhibiting local, national and international contemporary art. Gallery 1313 supports emerging artists with professional development and career building opportunities, offers members a welcoming space to connect with colleagues, develop their practice, and contribute to the operations of the gallery, and engages the public with contemporary art exhibitions and cultural events through community outreach.
Gallery 1313 is a not-for-profit, charitable organization located in the Parkdale neighbourhood of downtown Toronto. The gallery’s four unique exhibition spaces house over 70 exhibitions and many cultural events each year. The gallery is a vital contributor to making arts and culture accessible in Parkdale, providing much needed exhibition space for artists, critics, scholars, students and community organizations.
