CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: The Wunderkabinet (deadline: July 23, launches: August 28)

Our dear friend Leah of Toronto Church of Craft and City of Craft is currently living/making cool stuff happen in Berlin. She’d very much like to create some links between the craft worlds here and there – please see her call for your submissions to her latest project below.

Located inside the incredible bastel lounge that is La Bastellerie in Berlin’s Kreuzberg neighbourhood, The Wunderkabinet will house a very special collection of handmade curiosities from parts near and very far.* We’re now accepting applications for the current exhibition that will begin August 28.

This is a new project by displaced City of Crafter Leah Buckareff and the amazing ladies behind La Bastellerie. The collection will partially-to-wholly change every 2 (or so) months. If you’d like to have your work featured in The Wunderkabinet, please read the guidelines and submit an application. The deadline for submissions is July 23!

*Items in the kabinet are best viewed in person, but the nature of the project and its international-ism means that although all items will be featured on the site, only items that are not already for sale elsewhere online will be sold through The Wunderkabinet via the marvel that is the internet.
