It’s official: We’re on a six month hiatus from posting on the site, to return in January 2011.

While we’re off, here are some ways to stay in the crafty loop & continue to spread your own news:

TCA FORUM:  We’ve added all of our usual posting categories (e.g. Vendor Calls, Get Schooled) and have kept some of the more social categories up as well (e.g. Crafting Advice, Crushes and Inspiration).  We really encourage y’all to use this community tool to connect, inspire & inform each other about local craft stuffs.   The more of you active on there, the more powerful this tool will be!

MAILING LIST: If you aren’t already on it, please sign up for our mailer and every once in a while we will send out updates on craft news – stuff that we are involved in organizing as well as digests of crafty happenings around the holidays.

TCA FACEBOOK GROUP: If you are on the FB, join our group and connect/share with fellow crafters there.  We do tweet occasionally as well, follow us @TOcraftalert.

Outside of TCA, there are a bunch of great spots to keep up on the craft haps and share your own news.

Canada Arts Connect for calls for submissions, volunteers, and vendors, event postings and jobs in the arts

Toronto Etsy Street Team & 100 Mile Finds for vendor calls (and to find local makers)

Akimbo and Instant Coffee mailing lists for general arts listings in your mailbox (check out the websites as well for news and resources)
