FROM THE DESK OF TCA: Holiday Wind Down
by jen

Trimming our insane tree (filled to the gills with handmade love – thanks friends!)
Hi guys,
Well, I have been rooting around for something to post about and I have to admit, I think the focus part of my brain has already left for vacation. Recent days have been filled with holiday baking and candy making, trying to ready our very unfinished (and apocalyptically messy) house for hosting a big Christmas Eve family dinner, and getting a room ready for a first visit to our first house from my mother-in-law.
ANYHOW, I just thought I’d write a note to you all instead and ask about your crafty holiday plans…what sweet treats will you be baking (or have you baked), what unfinished projects will you be tackling, what new crafty endeavours will you be embarking on? I’d love to hear what’s been keeping you distracted from your last days of work, and wish you all the happiest of holidays from all of us at TCA!

my holiday crafting plans moving forward? visits to the textile museum and local hamilton galleries for inspiration, a number of home decor projects, and making my way through my pinterest “to make” board!

I finally found some craft wrapping paper so I’m excited to wrap many of the gifts we’ll be giving in cool, crafty ways like this: http://pinterest.com/pin/176484879117066709/
Merry Everything!
