The OCAD Material Art and Design shows are always great for discovering new talent and an opportunity to creep on emerging makers creative development. This Pop Up Shop at the Gladstone promise some lovely, fun (and racy!) works.OCADU and the Gladstone Hotel proudly present Craft’d Pop-Up Shop – a day of quality art & design. Hand made, local, and just what you’ve been looking for.

The event is a one-day pop-up shop located on the second floor of the Gladstone Hotel, that runs from 9am to 5pm on Saturday February 18th, 2012. It features a collection of fibre, jewelry and ceramic artists from the Material Art & Design Department at OCAD University. We also have a trading event going on in room 208. If people bring a hand-made item to the “Open Hearts, Open Sources” event they can trade it for a handmade handkerchief.
