		<description><![CDATA[<br/><p>So far most of the successful projects coming out of Regent Park seem to emerge from honest engagement with the existing community and the local culture, and it sounds like this call for public art calls for a similar approach.  I also appreciate the broad possible materials list that includes textiles and ceramics and the fact that this is open to collectives and community orgs.  Excited to see what pieces they choose!</p>

I spotted this call for subs for a residency program geared towards emerging craftspeople at the <a href="http://www.craft-design.ns.ca/">The Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design</a> the other day&#8230;looks like a really fantastic opportunity to hunker down and make work in an exciting, new (not to mention <em>beautiful</em>) city.
