I love the OCAD(U) Book Arts Fair – it is great for picking up beautiful cards, affordable prints, and other fun gifts (or loot for yourself) by emerging makers as well as ogling/investing in amazing handwork by really skilled bookmakers. At a show a couple of years ago I came across some seriously trippy handprinted papers there that I am saving for a special project (yet to reveal itself, but when it does, I am ready!).
Growing up as a non-Christmas celebrator, I’ll admit to harbouring a certain amount of cranky attitude about the holiday for much of my youth.
