I immediately googled them and  fell even harder for this partnership between Amrit Kumar and Mriga Kapadiya, two Toronto ladies who collaborate with small communities in India to produce textiles using traditional techniques such as Bandhani &#8211; a tie and dye process &#8211; and Rabari weaving and applique.  The results are stunning and the process fascinating.</em></p>

<p>Create a one-of-a-kind shawl or wrap inspired by the exhibition Fashionably Wrapped: The Influence of Kashmir Shawls. Local artist Sharon Epstein will lead participants in the process of polychromatic silk-screen printing to transfer intricate hand-painted patterns onto cloth. Co-presented with the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op.</p>

*Draw a prom dress, featuring fabric with a print designed by YOU. Your print can include drawings, found images, whatever! Or a combination of these things.</p>
<p>*Mail or email your submission to Peach Berserk to arrive by Thursday April 15th, along with proof of current school attendance.</p>
