Make Yarn with Kristyn Woodfine!

The Toronto Church of Craft is hosting a very special workshop happening this Sunday at The Workroom (1340 Queen Street W.).  Lovely proprietor of Pleasurecraft, Kristyn Woodfine, is making a trip to our metropolis from the idyllic wilds of eastern Ontario to teach us to spin yarn! On a spindle!

We’ll be congregating at 3pm on Sunday, February 28. The workshop will follow the regularly scheduled programming of Quilt Sunday (1-3pm).

Sock Knitting!
Wed. March 10th AND Wed. March 24th, 7 – 9pm

This is a two-part class where students will learn the basics of sock knitting. We will be working on four needles from the cuff down. Please know how to work on 4 needles, read a pattern, cast on/off and be available for both classes. (Pinchy)

Learn to Crochet in 3 Hours
Thursday, February 11, 6-9pm

Crochet Crash Course

In 3 hours, learn the basics of how to crochet: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, crochet in the round. By the end of the class, you’ll have the basics to continue on your own. You’ll also leave with some basic patterns for a granny square and a crochet flower. Bring a 5mm hook or larger, and some yarn to match (you can buy what you need at the Knit Café).

Introduction to Heritage Spinning

Date: Sunday February 7th or Sunday February 28th
